Kimberly Shao, MD, is a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. Initially from New York, she graduated from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She did a medical internship at Presbyterian/St.Luke's in Denver, Colorado. She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Connecticut. After becoming board certified in general dermatology, Dr. Shao did additional training for Mohs micrographic surgery at the Dayton Skin Care fellowship with Dr. Heidi Donnelly. She now plans to open her own practice in Colorado. Dr. Shao's interests include skin cancer and diversity in dermatology. She has an instagram account, @dr.skinshao where she focuses on skincare myth busting, resident education, and skintresting cases. In her free time, she is an aerialist, yoga teacher, hiker, skiier, and cat mom.
