Jay Robb is a clinical nutritionist and former bodybuilder who developed the three-day diet program known as the Fruit Flush Diet. With a focus on "clean" eating and frequent meals throughout the day, the Fruit Flush Diet plan was created to flush toxins from the body, restore synergy and balance within the gut and digestive system, and nourish the many systems of the body with high volumes of antioxidants, lean proteins and fiber. This diet has been catching the attention of media, models and moguls alike, and can be carried out with simple planning over a long weekend.
Step 1
Mix 32 oz. of water with a low-sugar, high-quality protein powder the morning of your first day with this program. Protein is an essential part of this diet, but be sure the protein you are using is low in sugar and carbohydrates. Enjoy this protein shake in increments of 6 oz. every two hours, from 8:00 am through 4:00 pm.

Step 2
Drink an 8 to 12 oz. glass of water one hour after each protein shake. If you are thirsty you can have more, but keep the water cool and filtered.
Step 3
Create a salad with a mixture of leafy greens and 3- to 6-oz. of lean chicken, turkey or fish. Eat this salad at 6:00 pm on the first day of the Fruit Flush Diet. You can add 1/2 a cup of lemon juice mixed with 1 to 2 tbsp. of olive or flaxseed oil for dressing.
Step 4
Eat one serving of fresh fruit every two hours on the second and third day of the diet, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. This should be followed by a large mixed salad of primarily leafy greens and lean proteins at 6:00 p.m. With your salad, drink a protein shake made from 12 oz. of water and one scoop of protein powder. Drink an 8 to 12 oz. glass of water one hour after each fruit serving and one hour after your salad.
